With over 30 years of experience in architecture, Craig founded Dalgleish Architects Ltd with his wife Sharee 21 years ago. They have raised their three children here in Whanganui, and now enjoy visiting their boys regularly, who are older and have left home to live in Wellington.

When he’s not working, Craig looks after their property, spends time with family, and is learning Te Reo Māori. Craig, Sharee and their kids love to travel together, and have visited some fascinating places all over the world, including an extended stay in Cambodia and Vietnam.

“Design is my thing. Architecture of late has become incredibly complex. I wish to make both the process and the buildings human and not boring. I am very interested in cultural context and behaviors, and am privileged to work with a talented team who help see things through to reality.”
