Malcolm is an award-winning, senior architect who works together with Dalgeish Architects on a range of high-quality projects. He studied at the Auckland School of Architecture and began his career with Bossley Cheshire Architects and JASMAX before establishing his current practice in 1997. His studio has received significant national recognition, including the NZIA Supreme Award and the Supreme Master Builders Award for West Coast Beach House, and the Supreme Windows and Glass Association Award and NZIA Branch Award for the Clifftop House in Hobson Bay.

Malcom lives with his partner Nicola, a creative strategist and director. They have a growing collection of art and design objects and are enjoying living in Whanganui, which is his partner’s home town. They regularly return to Malcolm’s own home town of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

An ardent canine lover, Malcolm and Nicola currently get their dog fix via Belle, the delightful Dalgleish Architects office dog.
